Daddy Report

Hello Sofi friends near and far. I thought I'd drop a few notes to fill in the still frames you see here with a little personality. Where do I begin? How about with her favorite things to do: undoubtedly, rolling over is her favorite thing to do. You can't keep this girl down. The moment you put her on her back, BOOP!, she flips over and looks up at you like she just did a triple lindy. Next, her bottom two baby teeth are in, and they're sharp as razors. If your fingers get anywhere near them, she'll bite'em (and anything else for that matter). I think her favorite food other than breast milk is sweet potatoes. She loves baths and her Daddy's Elvis impersonation. Putting words on what her baby giggles/belly-laughs are like is impossible. Imagine wrapping yourself in pure joy. Only a few things make her belly-laugh (as opposed to her bewitching smile which comes out easily), but when it happens, I'll repeat them until I pass out from exhaustion. Sofi is very near crawling, too. As Mommy said the other day, "I put her down on one side of the room, and by the time I looked back, she was on the other." So, she scoots. It's funny watching her figure it out. she gets on her stomach, puts her arms off the ground in flying position, and then kicks like the dickens just knowing something's about to happen. She loves being read to, which Mommy does every night, and she loves playing paddy-cake, lone ranger on Daddy's knee, and, of course, the cowboy song. This little girl is already lighting up the world - at least to us. We love her so.

Sincerely,

Daddy Bayt
